THE ULTIMATE DOWNHILL MACHINE
The Orbea Rallon Downhill Frameset is built for pure speed. With 170mm of rear travel paired with 180mm front travel, this MTB is ready for the rough stuff. Its suspension kinematics are designed to be as active as possible, reacting smoothly to even the smallest bumps, which is essential for maximum grip, control and absorption on rough trails at high speeds. Riders can also fine-tune the suspension and change the progressivity by around 5%, from 22.5% to 27.5% to suit any track.
Orbea's GravityLink suspension system strategically positions the shock low in the frame, creating an exceptionally low centre of gravity. This enhances stability and agility, especially when leaning into corners or catching air. For ultimate customisation, riders can add up to 395g of internal weights to the bottom bracket for increased composure, or remove them for quicker reactions. - Shock Progressivity: Use the GravityLink flip chip to adjust shock progression by ~5%, from approximately 22.5% to 27.5%, giving you more control over your suspension feel.
- Head Angle Adjust: Change the head angle by 0.75º using the offset headset cup—tweak your geometry to match the terrain.
- Weighted Bottom Bracket: Boost stability by adding weight low on the frame. Rallon includes 93 g, 95 g, and 395 g weights that mount to threaded holes in the GravityLink.
