Built around a lightweight aluminium frame and 24-inch wheels, this capable kids’ electric mountain bike combines carefully considered junior sizing with Bosch power and dependable trail-ready components.
Bosch Drive System
At the heart of the Acid 240 Hybrid Rookie Pro is the lightweight Bosch Performance Line SX drive unit, delivering up to 60Nm of torque. Its assistance helps younger riders tackle climbs, cover longer distances and keep pace on family rides, while the integrated Bosch CompactTube 400Wh battery maintains the bike’s balanced handling and streamlined appearance. Assistance is managed through the compact Bosch Purion 200 display and remote.
Suspension Platform
The 80mm SR Suntour XCT JR suspension fork helps absorb bumps and rougher trail surfaces, giving young riders greater comfort and control. Shimano Cues 1x9-speed gearing provides a useful 11-46T range for climbing and descending, with straightforward shifting and no front derailleur to complicate gear selection.
Brakes
Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes deliver controlled and dependable stopping power, while the 24-inch wheels keep the bike responsive and manageable.
