Santa Cruz Blur 2027
The new Santa Cruz Blur 2027 is a lightweight 120mm cross-country mountain bike built for much more than race tape. Fast and efficient enough to chase podiums, yet capable and confidence-inspiring enough for long days exploring technical trails, the latest Blur pushes beyond the traditional limits of an XC bike.
Santa Cruz has increased the travel, updated the geometry and refined the Superlight suspension system to create a bike that climbs efficiently without feeling nervous or restricted on rough descents. Whether you are sprinting from the start line, entering an all-day endurance event or heading out for a fast weekend ride, the Blur delivers speed without sacrificing capability.

Race Days and Weekdays
The Blur is designed to feel equally at home racing for position or disappearing into the hills for the day. Its lightweight CC Carbon frame and efficient suspension provide the speed expected from a dedicated cross-country bike, while its modern geometry and 120mm of travel make it more composed when the trail becomes steep, rough or technical.

More Travel, More Confidence
Every Blur now features 120mm of travel at the front and rear. The revised leverage curve provides greater support through the upper and middle sections of the travel, helping the bike remain responsive under pedalling while still offering excellent small-bump sensitivity.
Increased progression towards the end of the stroke allows riders to use the full 120mm of travel without encountering a harsh bottom-out. The result is a more controlled and predictable bike, whether climbing technical sections or carrying speed through rough descents.

Light, Practical and Built to Last
Despite gaining more travel and practical frame features, the Blur remains impressively light. Slimmer tube profiles, optimised frame shaping and a refined carbon layup reduce unnecessary material without compromising strength or stiffness.
Every model uses Santa Cruz’s premium CC Carbon construction and is backed by a lifetime frame and pivot bearing warranty. There is also no rider weight limit, allowing the Blur to remain a genuinely capable mountain bike rather than a delicate race-day-only machine.
