Orbea Kimu 24 H20
The Orbea Kimu 24 H20 has been designed to blur the line between a kids’ bike and a true trail-ready mountain bike, giving younger riders the same confidence, capability and ride quality you would expect from a full-size MTB. Drawing on Orbea’s long-standing reputation for precision engineering and rider-focused design, the Kimu range is built to encourage progression—helping riders develop skills, explore further, and ride with more control on varied terrain. The lightweight aluminium frame keeps handling responsive and manageable, while carefully considered geometry ensures a balanced, stable ride that inspires confidence both on climbs and descents.
What sets the Kimu 24 H20 apart is how seamlessly it integrates proper mountain bike technology into a scaled platform. The Manitou Machete Junit fork with 100mm of travel delivers genuine trail suspension performance, smoothing out rough ground and giving riders the control they need to tackle more technical sections. Paired with a wide-range Microshift 9-speed drivetrain, the bike offers smooth, reliable shifting that adapts easily to changing gradients, making it just as capable on longer rides as it is on local trails. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide consistent, powerful stopping in all conditions—an essential feature that boosts rider confidence and safety.
Finishing touches like Schwalbe Rocket Ron Perf Foldable and a dropper-ready cockpit underline the Kimu’s trail-focused intent, offering grip, control and adaptability well beyond what you’d typically expect from a kids’ bike. Every component has been selected not just for performance, but for durability and ease of use, ensuring the bike can keep up with growing riders as their ability and ambition increase. The result is a bike that doesn’t just introduce young riders to mountain biking—it properly equips them for it, delivering a ride experience that feels fast, capable and genuinely exciting from the very first pedal stroke.
