TRANSITION BOTTLEROCKET. DOWNHILL-CAPABILTY MEETS FREERIDE HANDLING.
Born from the golden era of freeride, the Transition Bottlerocket is back — redesigned for today’s riders but still true to its roots. Originally created to bridge the gap between downhill power and playful agility, the Bottlerocket became a legend for its compact geometry, responsive handling, and unmistakable style.
The 2026 Bottlerocket delivers that same spirit with modern updates — long-travel suspension, a low-slung aluminium frame, and dialled freeride geometry built to handle jump lines, bike parks, and steep technical descents with ease. It’s a bike made for riders who chase fun, flow, and progression, not podiums.
From its clean lines to its throwback Grey Speckle finish, the new Bottlerocket captures everything that made the original iconic — only now it’s faster, tougher, and more capable than ever.
If you’re after a freeride mountain bike with downhill performance and pure soul, the Transition Bottlerocket delivers — a true blend of style, strength, and send-it attitude.
THROWBACK PAINT & GRAPHICS
The Bottlerocket was always a fun one to experiment with paint schemes and styles with. From the classic raw finish to pairing bright, poppy colors, we knew these riders wanted something that reflected their freeride attitude. For this new Bottlerocket, we wanted to bring back a retro design from the past, and felt that grey with white splatter paint was a good match for today's style.
HERE TO PUSH LIMITS
Now feels like the perfect time for Transition to bring the Bottlerocket back — and we couldn’t be more excited to have it available. Freeride isn’t just alive; it’s thriving. Trails today have more flow, more features, and more progression than ever, and the Bottlerocket fits perfectly into that movement.
This bike isn’t about chasing race results or following trends — it’s about capturing the pure, carefree energy that makes mountain biking what it is. The Bottlerocket is built for riders who push their limits simply because it feels good, for those who express themselves through style, speed, and creativity on the trail.
It’s not a bike for everyone — and that’s exactly what makes it special. The Bottlerocket is for the dreamers, the diggers, and the riders who live for the next perfect line. It’s a modern take on a freeride classic, built for the community that keeps the spirit of progression alive.
Design That Delivers
Dual Crown: Ready to ride off cliffs or hit the lifts. The dual crown build features 200mm
travel from Marzocchi’s 58mm fork in front and 200mm of travel from the Bomber air
shock out back. Paired with the SRAM GX DH drivetrain and straight seatpost, this
robust build is ready for lap after lap.
Single Crown: This long travel slopestyle rig’s only limitation is your imagination.
No trick, line or zone is inaccessible to the 180mm/180mm travel Bottlerocket.
Equipped with a dropper post and wide range cassette, you can easily spin up
for your favorite local lap or remote mission to backcountry scree.
