Mondraker is a Spanish mountain bike brand known for its focus on progressive geometry, suspension development and performance-oriented mountain bikes. The Zendit sits towards the more aggressive end of Mondraker's electric mountain bike range, combining an enduro-focused chassis with the latest Avinox M2S drive system.
The Mondraker Zendit R and Zendit S share the same core Zendit platform, including the Zendit Stealth Air Carbon front triangle, carbon main frame with alloy rear triangle, 170mm front suspension, mullet wheel configuration and Avinox M2S drive system with an integrated 800Wh battery. Where the two models differ is primarily in their component specification, with each using a different suspension, wheel and drivetrain package.
Mondraker Zendit R & S – Comparison Chart
Mondraker Zendit R
The Mondraker Zendit R brings the Zendit platform together with a Fox suspension package and SRAM's wireless Eagle AXS T-Type drivetrain. At the front, the bike uses a Fox 38 Float GRIP Performance fork with 170mm of travel, matched to a Fox Float-X LV Performance rear shock measuring 205 × 65mm. This gives the Zendit R a Fox suspension setup at both ends while retaining the long-travel configuration of the Zendit platform.
The R is equipped with the Avinox M2S drive system and 800Wh integrated battery, along with Avinox wireless controls and a 2-inch OLED display. The bike uses a 29-inch front and 27.5-inch rear wheel configuration, with DT Swiss Hybrid H 1900 Spline wheels and a Maxxis Assegai 29 × 2.5 WT front tyre. This mullet setup combines the larger front wheel with the smaller rear wheel specified across the Zendit models.
One of the most notable differences on the Zendit R is its drivetrain. The bike uses SRAM S1000 Eagle AXS T-Type, controlled through the SRAM Eagle AXS Pod, giving the R wireless electronic shifting. Braking comes from SRAM Maven Base four-piston brakes, while an OnOff Pija internal dropper post and ethirteen Helix Core Espec Plus cranks complete the main component package.
Overall, the Zendit R takes the core Zendit chassis and Avinox system and pairs them with a Fox Performance suspension package, DT Swiss wheelset and wireless SRAM AXS drivetrain.
Mondraker Zendit S
The Mondraker Zendit S shares the same fundamental platform as the R, including the Zendit Stealth Air Carbon front triangle, carbon main frame, alloy rear triangle, Avinox M2S motor and integrated 800Wh battery. The suspension configuration remains at 170mm of front travel, but the S uses a RockShox suspension package rather than the Fox setup found on the R.
At the front, the Zendit S is equipped with a RockShox ZEB Base 29 Delta RC fork with 170mm of travel, paired with a RockShox Super Deluxe Select rear shock measuring 205 × 65mm. This gives the S a consistent RockShox suspension package while retaining the same overall travel specification.
The S also uses the same 29-inch front / 27.5-inch rear wheel format, but its wheels are supplied by Mavic, with Mavic E-Access XR30 aluminium wheels. A Maxxis Assegai 29 × 2.5 WT tubeless front tyre is fitted, while an X-Fusion Manic TA dropper post is used for saddle height adjustment.
The drivetrain is another significant difference between the two models. Rather than the wireless SRAM AXS system found on the Zendit R, the S uses a SRAM 70 Eagle T-Type 12-speed drivetrain with SRAM Trigger 70 mechanical shifting. The bike retains the SRAM Maven Base four-piston brakes, as well as the ethirteen Helix Core Espec Plus crankset.
The Zendit S therefore keeps the same core Zendit chassis and Avinox M2S system while using a RockShox suspension package, Mavic wheelset and mechanical SRAM T-Type drivetrain.
