Marin Bikes

Q: Which Marin models do you have available?

We stock a focused range of Marin bikes covering trail, enduro, dirt jump, and downhill categories. The available models are: **Marin Alpine Trail** (long-travel enduro, also in e-MTB form), **Marin Rift Zone** (do-it-all trail bike), **Marin Alcatraz** (dirt-jump and pump-track model), and the **Marin Quake** (high-performance downhill bike).

Q: What’s the difference between the Marin Alpine Trail and Rift Zone?

The Alpine Trail and Rift Zone serve different riding styles, primarily differentiated by suspension travel and focus: The **Rift Zone** is the all-day trail bike with 130–140 mm of travel, designed for efficient climbing and flowing singletrack. The **Alpine Trail** is an enduro-focused bike with 160–170 mm of travel and longer-wheelbase geometry, built for steep, aggressive descents and technical terrain.

Q: Is the Marin Alpine Trail suitable for technical trails?

Yes, the Marin Alpine Trail is specifically built for technical terrain. It features **160 mm rear / 170 mm front travel**, modern slack enduro geometry, and a stiff chassis (aluminium or carbon, depending on the build) to provide maximum control, traction, and confidence on rocky descents, rooty climbs, and demanding enduro-grade tracks.

Q: Do you offer 0% finance for Marin bikes?

Yes, we offer 0% APR finance across our Marin range (Alpine Trail, Rift Zone, Alcatraz, and Quake). Flexible repayment plans up to 48 months are available on selected models, subject to status and terms & conditions. You can view options from providers like Klarna and V12 Retail Finance in the 'Finance Options' box on the product page.

Q: Can I buy a Marin through a Cycle to Work scheme?

Yes, we support all major Cycle to Work providers for purchasing models like the Marin Alpine Trail, Rift Zone, Alcatraz, or Quake (subject to provider limits and T&Cs). Please contact us for a personalized quote and assistance with the application process.

Q: Where can I get a Marin serviced?

Your Marin can be serviced at our on-site MTB & eMTB Workshop, which is fully equipped for maintenance, including suspension tuning and e-bike diagnostics. All new bikes come with a complimentary 6-week safety check. You can book a service via our Workshop Booking page or by calling 01254 959345.

Q: Where can I test ride (demo) a Marin?

We showcase Marin bikes in our North-West showroom and offer demo rides on selected models. We recommend contacting us before visiting to confirm the availability of the specific bike and size you are interested in. You can also book your demo ride online.

‘Cannot recommend MTB monster enough! Ordered my bike on the Sunday and it was with me by Wednesday afternoon. Reliable 2 person courier service used as well. Bike went through a full PDI as well as the team setting up the tubeless tires as well which saved me the hassle. Great service and will definitely use again in the future.’
