General Bike Services

At MTB monster our workshop offer lots of services to keep you pedalling on the trails or the road.

Bicycle Puncture Repairs

We offer comprehensive puncture repair services and we retail all the necessary parts the repair both tubed and tubeless tires. Our experienced mechanics will assess the damage and advise you on the necessary repairs and parts. We can then fit the required components to get you back on the trails or road as quickly as possible.

Brake Pads

Whether you bike has rim brakes or hydraulic disc brakes its imperative to replace brake pads when they wear thin. Look for worn indicators or thin pads. Also, pay attention to performance: reduced braking, squealing, grinding, a spongy feel, or visible damage all mean it's time for new pads. Our mechanics can quickly assess and replace them, or you can find a wide selection in our showroom.

Brake Bleeds

Wondering if your brakes need a bleed? Check for these signs: a spongy or inconsistent lever feel, reduced braking power, or a lever that pulls all the way to the handlebar. These indicate air in your hydraulic system. Our workshop can expertly bleed your front, rear, or both brakes as needed.

Bicycle Drivetrain Maintenance

Maintaining each component in the drivetrain extends the life of every component. Our workshop offers lots of services to keep your drivetrain running smoothly. From gear tunes, to full drivetrain strip downs.

How often should I bring my bike in for a service?

Routine maintenance intervals depend on your riding style and frequency. However, we recommend a standard bike check every six months for typical use. For a thorough service, including bearing greasing and suspension maintenance, an annual 'Gold Service' is ideal. High-performance suspension systems may require more frequent attention.
