The Trek Powerfly 7 is equally capable on the ascents & the descents combining both a Bosch Performance CX motor with a Shimano SLX/XT drive-train, decimating the ascents. And on the way back down the Powerfly 7 is outfitted with a dropper post & a RockShox fork.
