Here at MTB Monster we specialise in creating one off custom mountain bikes from the frame up. As mountain bikers, we always feel privileged whenever a customer asks us to create their custom build and we get just as excited when the bikes starts to come together. Here’s our latest custom build that rolled out the store this month! Working with the rider we managed to create a totally unique build based on the Nukeproof Scout 275 Frame
We worked with the customer to ensure they got the best kit to tackle the trails. Starting with the suspension we opted for the Rockshox Pike Ultimate in the signature Silver colour to provide 140mm of plush travel, ready to take on any obstacle a modern trail can come up with. The drive power is looked after by the trusty SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain and the stopping blocks are Shimano XT 4-Pot brakes on 180mm IceTech rotors.
The cockpit is all dripping with kit from Deity. Featuring the Deity Copperhead stem paired with the Skywire Carbon Handlebars and wrapped with the Deity Knuckleduster grips, this cockpit gives a direct and precise steering feel.
Originally the frame came in a metallic blue with yellow decals but, to suit the colour scheme of the bike, we sent the frame off to Invisiframe Graphics who worked their magic and gave us the silver finish the customer wanted. We then protected the graphics and the paint finish by applying a gloss Invisiframe kit.
