When you're exploring new places, the last thing you want is to be worrying about your bike. That's why the Reaction Hybrid SLX is equipped with Shimano's XT 12-speed gears and matching XT hydraulic disc brakes. Together, they offer easy use and exceptional reliability, so you can just concentrate on the ride. It's the same story with the Fox 34 AWL Float suspension fork, which combines smooth bump-swallowing comfort with excellent steering precision. The Newmen Performance 30 wheelset is shod with 2.6in Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres for excellent grip and ride comfort. Advanced Internal Cable Routing
Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.
Aluminium Superlite
CUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities – high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength – that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.
