There's more to making a really practical frame than bolting on mudguards and a carrier, although we've done that too. The Cube Nuroad Hybrid C:62 SLX FE elegantly sculpted C:62® frame is full of neat touches, like the ability to run up to 50mm tyres even with the included mudguards. The full carbon fork has carrier mounts, Cube added a direct mount lightweight chain guide, there's a flat mount kickstand interface, and the rear end is equipped with Boost axle and UDH gear hanger. As for the Bosch drive system, it's PowerMore-ready for a +250Wh battery booster pack and the control unit is neatly incorporated inside the top tube, with a separate Mini Remote on the handlebar. The Nuroad Hybrid SLX FE is an electric gravel bike built from the ground up with intricate details in mind, so all you need to do is ride.
C:62 Carbon Finer Technology
Not all carbon is created equal. With Cubes C:62® carbon Cube increased the high modulus fibre content, then we reinforced the resulting material with nanoparticles incorporated into the bonding resin. Which is all just a fancy way of saying it's extremely strong, light and durable.
BOOST148
A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That's the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.
Advance Internal Cable Routing
Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.
Gravel Endurance Geometry
For gravel epics – or races – into the back country and beyond, Cubes Gravel Endurance Geometry is designed with you in mind. With a ride position optimised for long days in the saddle and frame angles and dimensions geared towards the perfect balance of agility and stability, it's all you need for off-road electric gravel bike adventures.
Fixed integrated Battery
Bosch SX technology incorporates a new, lighter and more configurable battery setup. To make the most of the weight saving, we've integrated the new battery fully into the down tube. This means we can position it optimally for the best weight distribution and handling, as well as saving more weight by building a down tube that's precisely the right size to fit, and without the need for an access hatch. And the Power More option means you can add an additional 250Wh battery quickly and simply, for extra range. It's the best of both worlds.
